Macbeth
Thursday 26th March – Friday 27th March
Dickens Theatre Company proudly presents Macbeth, Shakespeare’s bloodiest and most thrilling tragedy, arriving at the Towngate’s Mirren Studio in March 2026. In this unique adaptation, the infamous Porter takes on the role of narrator, guiding audiences through the tangled web of ambition, betrayal and dark magic. An ensemble of just 6 actors conjures a cauldron of characters, bringing the Scottish Play vividly to life. Set against a backdrop of war, witchery and treason, Macbeth remains chillingly relevant in the 21st century. As part of DTC’s highly acclaimed Revision on Tour, this accessible Macbeth entertains and educates to the bitter end.
