Dickens Theatre Company present The Bard’s bloodiest tragedy! This fresh new adaptation of ‘The Scottish Play’ arrives at the Towngate.

With the infamous Porter acting as narrator, an ensemble of 7 actors create a cauldron of characters, as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth make their perilous descent towards Hell.

Set against a back-drop of wars, witchery and treasonous plotting, Shakespeare’s ambitious Macbeth remains ominously relevant in the 21st Century.

Dickens Theatre Company has been successfully staging classic English literature texts for the UK stage since 2015.

Revision on Tour 2024

Macbeth is touring alongside Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde and Romeo & Juliet as part of DTC’s ‘Revision on Tour 2024’.
