The Towngate Theatre, Box Office and Café Bar will be closed every Thursday during the busy panto season.

Towngate Theatre
We’ve been entertaining Basildon for 30 years – with drama, musicals, classical concerts, comedy, panto and so much more. On Saint Martin’s Square at the heart of Basildon, we’re just 6 minutes walk from Basildon Station, with plenty of parking next door.

There’s so many ways you can get involved with the Towngate, from workshops and events to spaces to knit and natter, we have something for everyone.
Café
Coffee and cake at the Towngate makes a fantastic break from a day’s shopping in Basildon. Pre-theatre meals, cocktails and lunch break snacks mean Towngate Café is the perfect place to share the fun and drama.
