Towngate Ensemble Scratch Night

Come and support our local artists at our monthly Towngate Ensemble Scratch Nights!

These nights are for early stage work of a maximum of 10 minutes and are completely FREE to attend for both audience and performers. The pieces of work are new material that haven’t had an audience outing before. You can expect theatre, dance, spoken work, live art, performance art, and much much more!

Audience members are invited to give feedback to acts to support their development and their work. Each scratch night starts at 6pm in the Gielgud Room and will finish prior to a 7.30pm performance in the Main Auditorium. So for anyone already booked to see a show that evening, why not make the most of your night at the Towngate, and enjoy our free Scratch night before your show!
