Basildon Operatic Society proudly presents
Made in Dagenham
The Musical
Brought to you by the award winning BasOp
It is 1968, and the women of Ford’s Dagenham factory have had enough. When they discover they are being paid less than the men, they decide it is time to stand up, speak out and fight for what they deserve.
From the infectious energy of Made in Dagenham and Busy Woman to the powerful Everybody Out and uplifting Stand Up, this sensational musical is packed with unforgettable songs, huge laughs, and plenty of Essex spirit.
Follow the women as they take on the factory, the unions and even the Government in a hilarious, heartfelt, and ultimately triumphant battle for equality.
With rousing music, riotous comedy, larger-than-life characters and a story that still resonates today, Made in Dagenham is the feel-good musical you won’t want to miss.
So grab your friends, take your seats and get ready to join the revolution!
