Friends of the Towngate
The Friends of the Towngate Theatre are a dedicated group of volunteers who assist with theatre ushering and other essential Front of House duties. They provide a superb service to our customers and are vital to the ongoing success of The Towngate. We are always looking to expand this team and would be delighted if you would like to join us!
The scheme is open to anyone over the age of 18 and you can commit as much (or as little) time as you wish. If you are a college or university student this would be an ideal opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the Arts and Culture industry.
Training is provided to all volunteers and a buddy scheme is in place for those who have never ushered before.
The benefits of being a Friend of the Towngate include:

- Actively supporting local arts groups
- Meeting friends with similar interests
- Occasional ticket benefits for volunteers.
