Following the 5-star success of Beauty and the Beast 2021-22, we are back this festive season with our high-flying panto for 2022-23, The Panto Adventures of Peter Pan! This swashbuckling spectacular promises to be even more breath-taking and magical than ever before – a Pan-tastic Adventure for all the family to enjoy!
Basildon favourite, Simon Fielding, returns this year as Peter Pan’s Director and Producer and the baddie everyone loves-to-hate – Sophie Ladds – will be back on our stage, playing the dastardly Captain Hook. After winning the hearts of the audiences as Dame Dolly Dumpling in Beauty and the Beast, Ian Hallard will be popping on more fabulous frocks to play the role of Mrs Smee this year. Joining Sophie and Ian will be Harvey Zaffino as cheeky Peter Pan, Hannah Taylor as lovable Wendy, Antonia Luisa-Clarke as mischievous Tinkerbelle and Michael Loftus as silly Wibbles.
Our award-winning, critically-acclaimed pantomimes are the jewel in the crown of Essex – we’re renowned for our stunning scenery, colourful costumes, dazzling dancers and a fantastic live band at every performance. Each show is a non-stop, musical spectacular that is not to be missed!

A ticket must be purchased for all children attending a performance of the pantomime, regardless of their age. It has always been our policy that we do not recommend bringing children under 3 to our pantomimes.
RELAXED PERFORMANCE: TUESDAY 6 DECEMBER 2022 @ 5PM
Please note that this performance will be a Relaxed Performance, which is suitable for children and adults with learning difficulties, are on the autism spectrum, or anyone who may benefit from a performance in a more relaxed environment. This performance is open to everyone, however there will be a calmer setting for the performance and the theatre to suit the occasion. During our relaxed performance the theatre announcements will be minimal to none, the house lights will stay up at around 50% and many of the bumps and jumps throughout the performance will be edited so that the performance is accessible to all.
