Neil Sands returns with another afternoon of pure nostalgia

Neil Sands

Land of Hope and Glory

Celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE Day

Please note: Due to the ongoing restrictions to prevent further spread of COVID-19 and the impact it has had on producing productions, unfortunately Neil Sands’ Land of Hope and Glory will no longer be touring in 2020 or 2021. Apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.

However, we are delighted to confirm that Neil Sands will be returning to the Towngate on Monday 19 April 2021 @ 2.30pm with a new production, Bringing Back the Good Times. For more details and to book online, please visit Bringing Back The Good Times.

Neil Sands and his wonderful cast are back with the brand new 2020 production of their most popular patriotic matinee show, Land of Hope and Glory, celebrating the best of British entertainment from the fabulous Forties, rocking Fifties and swinging Sixties. This show has been produced especially to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, the end of the Second World War.

This patriotic and nostalgic afternoon is filled with marvellous and memorable songs, including a rousing selection from Last Night of The Proms, old time singalongs, great British show tunes, and ever popular favourites.

This promises to be their biggest and most spectacular production ever. Over two hours of timeless nostalgia, with sensational voices, more than 50 stunning costume changes, ending with a spectacular flag waving finale, with enough flags and bunting to fill the biggest stage as we all sing those wonderful songs that won the war, in a VE Day party to never forget.

Please note: This new date has replaced Neil Sands’ All-Star Old Time Variety Show which was originally scheduled for this date and time. This performance is currently postponed until further notice, it is likely to be rescheduled to a later date in 2021.
